The following use [Email Campaigns] as an example. The corresponding functions are similar under [SMS and MMS Campaigns].
First, under the [Emails] section, go to the [Recurring Campaigns] tab. Then, click the [Create Recurring Email Campaign] button on the upper right of the screen to start creating a [Base Campaign].
The editing summary page is the same as in [Single Campaign]. You need to complete three sections, namely [Recipients], [Sender Information], and [Email Content].
If you select recipients using [Upload File] or [Paste Emails], the auto-generated campaigns will be sent to your uploaded or pasted email addresses every time. Before sending, the system will check and filter the [Hard Bounced] and [Unsubscribed] emails. The final sending number may still be different.
If you select recipients using [Select Group], you can choose to use [Snapshot Groups] and [Auto-update Groups]. For [Snapshot Groups], you can add or remove contacts manually at any time. For [Auto-update Groups], the system will search for contacts according to the search conditions when using them. As a result, the final sending number may vary significantly. Please pay attention to the search conditions of [Auto-update Group] when using [Select Group] to select recipients.
The [Sender Information] and [Email Content] sections are the same as in [Create Single Email Campaigns].
After completing the three main sections, a [Set Recurring] button will appear below. Unlike when creating a [Single Campaign], you can’t choose to [Send Now] or [Schedule]. Instead, you can only click [Set Recurring] to set a recurring sending cycle.
You can send your campaigns every set hour, day, week, month, or year. Different sending cycles provide different options.
According to the setting, the system will automatically generate and send the first campaign at the closest future time. Then repeat it periodically.
You can choose when to stop sending the campaign regularly. Auto-generated campaigns will only start at the beginning of the hour. The following is a setting example:
Every 5 hours
January 1 (Sunday), 2023, 3:45 PM
And so on until deactivated.
You can choose when to send the campaign during the day and when to stop sending it regularly. The following is a setting example:
Every 2 days, starting at 3:00 PM
January 1 (Sunday), 2023, 3:45 PM
And so on until deactivated.
You can choose which day of the week to send the campaign, when to send it on that day, and when to stop sending it regularly. The following is a setting example:
Every 3 weeks on Wednesday and Friday at 9:00 AM
January 1 (Sunday), 2023, 3:45 PM
And so on until deactivated.
You can choose which day of the month to send the campaign, when to send it on that day, and when to stop sending it regularly. The following is a setting example:
Every 2 months on the 15th of the month at 9:00 AM
January 1 (Sunday), 2023, 3:45 PM
And so on until deactivated.
Note: The system allows you to send regularly on the 29th, 30th, and 31st of the month, but not all months have these days. If there are no such days, it will be sent on the last day of the month.
You can choose which day of the year to send the campaign, when to send it on that day, and when to stop sending it regularly. The following is a setting example:
Sent every 1 year on December 25, 6:00 PM
January 1 (Sunday), 2023, 3:45 PM
And so on until deactivated.
Note: The system allows you to send regularly on February 29, but not all years have that day. If a year does not have that day, it will be sent earlier on February 28.
You can choose [Never] stop sending regularly, automatically stop after sending a specific number of times, or stop after a specific date. Regardless of your setting, you can manually stop at any time.
If you set the campaign to stop sending after a specific date, it will stop after 11:59 PM on that day.
When you stop a [Base Campaign], it becomes [Deactivated]. A [Base Campaign] that is [Deactivated] can’t be reactivated, but you can duplicate a [Deactivated] campaign and set it to send regularly again.
