To ensure account security, a SalesCatalysts account using the same [Login Email] and [Password] is only allowed to log in on one browser at a time. If you log in to the same account on another browser or device, the system will automatically log out the original session to prevent simultaneous use across multiple locations. If you need to perform cross-account or multi-user collaboration, you must use the [User Connection] feature.
Through the [User Connection] feature, you can log in to your own account and then access other SalesCatalysts accounts, enabling efficient cross-account collaboration. You can establish [User Connection] with multiple users at the same time, with no limit on the number.
When creating a [User Connection], you must select an appropriate [User Role] to define the scope of access and permissions. Once the [User Connection] is established, users can access or manage [Contacts], [Groups], and [Campaigns] in the account according to their assigned role permissions, ensuring collaboration is both flexible and controlled.
[User Connection] is divided into two types: [Access Others] and [Grant Access]. The differences are as follows:
| Item | Access Others | Grant Access |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Apply to access another user’s account | Authorize others to enter your account |
| User Role | You specify your [User Role] when accessing another account | You specify the other party’s [User Role] when they access your account |
| Final Effect | Access the other account according to your role permissions | The other party accesses your account according to their role permissions |
This two-way mechanism ensures account security and collaboration flexibility, making cross-account cooperation more transparent and controllable.
When creating a [User Connection], you must assign a [User Role] for either [Access Others] or [Grant Access]. This [User Role] determines the scope of access and permissions in the account. [User Roles] can be modified later as needed.
Details of each role are as follows:
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Collaborator | Has nearly full access permissions. Can manage [Contacts], [Groups], [Campaigns], and [Templates], but cannot access [Account], [Billing], [Multi-User], or [Developer] settings. |
| Campaign Creator | Can create, edit, and send [Campaigns], and manage [Templates] and [Groups], but cannot access [Contacts]. |
| Data Manager | Can only manage [Contacts] and [Groups], but cannot access [Campaigns] or [Templates]. |
| Analyst | Can only view [Contacts], [Groups], [Campaigns], and [Templates], with no editing permissions. |
Any content created after switching accounts, such as Contacts, Groups, or Campaigns, belongs to that account and will use that account’s service plan, including Email and SMS credits.
